Contact damages both cars. Damage reduces top speed and grip; zero integrity costs three seconds for recovery at the same position. You return with 65% integrity and brief collision protection. Enable Hardcore for race-ending damage. Request a pit stop with E or PIT: the crew repairs and refills your car on the next start straight. Service takes four seconds while rivals keep racing.
Boost builds heat. If it overheats, let it cool below 35% before using it again. Braking cools it faster.
Find your next tenth
Brake before tight corners, ease the wheel into the turn, then accelerate as you straighten up. Big steering inputs at high speed make the tyres slide and scrub speed. If you hear squealing or see TYRE SLIP, ease off the gas or brake gently to regain grip. Small corrections keep your speed. Holding the brake overrides the accelerator.
The corner guide suggests a speed for your car’s condition. Lap records and ghosts start fresh with this handling update; your earlier records stay saved separately.
Follow a rival closely to slipstream and refill boost. A close, clean pass earns 15 boost. Boost works on the road while accelerating; release it to re-arm after the tank runs dry.
For a perfect start, press the accelerator just before the lights go out, or tap BOOST when using auto-accelerate. In time trial, race three solo laps against your best saved lap. A green split means you’re ahead.
Make it yours
On iPhone, rotate to landscape. Slide your left thumb left or right on the wheel; a small slide makes a gentle turn. Release to center. Hold GAS with your right thumb and release to coast. Slide to BRAKE to slow down, or up to BOOST for gas and boost together. Auto-accelerate is optional and off by default. Safari’s Share → Add to Home Screen can give you a larger standalone view.
